Hire an Illegal, Lose Your Business?

Because Congress and the White House haven’t managed to do anything about illegal aliens, the states are looking for ways to do something.

Businesses are scared because who knows what a business will have to do to prove that they didn’t intentionally hire an illegal alien.

Basically multi-million dollar operations can be threatened by $15 per hour bureaucrats who are just “following the rules” they’ll say and who will face no responsibility for being wrong.

It’s coming into effect in hopes of frightening illegal immigrants from the state. So far it’s only frightening off new business investment.

Nationally, the best and quickest thing to do would be to

1. Eliminate the IRS and income tax

2. Create a national sales tax

This would at least make sure all the illegal immigrants, drug dealers, and others who currently pay no income taxes  would at least be funding the infrastructure that’s bending under their weight.

The way the constitution was originally written, the taxes could be collected by the states who collect such taxes anyway, and kept there and the federal government could then assess the states. States would get their hands on the money first though.
