Family Friendly Cities Are Growing

Many people work at home because of a desire to be with their children or family members more.

Here’s how that’s shaping up trend wise – family friendly cities are growing as people “vote with their feet”.

That means the cities and regions that attract families will grow while as will their economies while the urban centers of yesteryear will be the domain of the power brokers, singles, and the homeless. Part of this is due to the Generation Y crowd, the “millennials” who want a stable family life and are willing to go it on their own rather than be a cubicle slave.

Here’s another great read on Family Friendly Cities.

Unfortunately, it’s the wealth and wow of the dying urban centers who woo politicians that’s guiding much government policy.

Families are voting with their feet for the places that provide good jobs, affordable housing, and a lifestyle that doesn’t destroy family life.

i’m part of working at home, and it keeps me organize the things i want to do and needed to do, rather than having work outside and got so pressured balancing my time to it.
