Mortgage Help May Be Available To Home Owners Soon

If the home that is also your home office is taking a bite thanks to skyrocketing mortgage interest rates on you adjustable mortgage, help may be on the way.

Or not.

Sounds like there’s lots of paper work that needs to be simplified and one is afraid of “helping” a consumer before everyone agrees the “paperwork” is right.

    Looking at the basic idea of an adjustable mortgage rate I wonder how they are even legal. Is the SEC involved in this industry. I own a home and don’t have an adjustable but a point worth noting : If you buy a home for aroun 300,000 dollars on a twenty year note it likely will cost around 1.1 million dollars. They usually don’t tell you this though. With people thinking that home ownership is an “investment” and a good one at that there should be a law that standardises disclosure.
