I shouldn’t have to tell you this, but you should have to tell people you can’t really make money stuffing envelopes either, but that lie never seems to die either.
There’s a new slew of phony emails claiming to be from the IRS and offering you a refund.
When you respond they steal your personal information and try to take all your money.
How do you know it’s phony?
1. When was the last time the IRS didn’t have your mailing address and HAD your email address?
2. When was the last time they really wanted to GIVE you money?
I rest my case.
