From their corporate office:
As you’re now aware, Commission River signed a Letter of Intent to be acquired by Cognigen Networks, Inc. and is currently managing Cognigen operations. We are excited to work with Cognigen agents. Most members of Commission River’s staff have a long history as Cognigen agents, Cognigen employees and friends of Cognigen agents.
Cognigen has been through several challenging years. The survival of Cognigen as an entity
is a testament to the loyalty and strength of its agents as well as the automated systems
built for those agents. It is our intent to stabilize Cognigen and ecure the income of many
of our long time friends and associates. It is also our intent to reinvigorate the Cognigen agent program by providing tools, training, new products, and a vibrant community for agents in which they can work together toward mutual success.
Frequently Asked Questions about this Change:
Who is Commission River?
Commission River is an affiliate marketing company created by Adam Edwards and Patrick Oborn the founders of Telarus, Inc. (ShopforT1). Why is Commission River being acquired by Cognigen?
Commission River offers not only an advanced affiliate marketing platform, but also brings the expertise of many former Cognigen employees and partners including Patrick Oborn, former webmaster for Cognigen, Robert Probst, former Agent Support Manager for Cognigen,
Glenda Probst former Agent Support staff, and Aaron Jay Leiberman, creator of Cognigen Alert, Bottom Line Best Rate Calculator, and Platinum site, and Keith Grey, former Database Designer for Cognigen.
Commission River is being acquired by Cognigen for its staff’s capabilities and history with Cognigen in expectation that it will add stability and growth to Cognigen. Commission River is also being acquired so that Cognigen agents can take full advantage of the technology offered by Commission River.
What does the new management team plan to do with the Cognigen affiliate program?
We intend to stabilize the Cognigen affiliate program and secure the income that so many agents have earned over the years. We intend to provide agents with tools, training, new products, and a vibrant community.
Will you merge the two agent operations?
The Cognigen agent program and the Commission River program will co-exist as separate programs in the near-term. The Cognigen agent program will continue to move forward as is and agents may also join Commission River and work to sell products and services offered therein. At some point the agent platforms will merge and agents’ business from both programs will be viewable as one.
Will I lose my downline if I join CR?
No. Commission River compensates agents for recruiting new agents into the Commission River program. Commission River pays only one level of override in order to pay the
maximum payment possible to selling agents. Commission River is not a multi-level program. The agents you recruited as a Cognigen agent WILL continue to be tracked as you join Commission River and you will be compensated for the sales of your Level 1 downline.
What can I expect in the near future?
Commission River is rapidly engaging with Cognigen. The Commission River management team is now running day-to-day operations of Cognigen’s program. After assessing the current state of the business we will create a definitive plan to stabilize and reinvigorate the agent program. We commit to communicating regularly with you, to listening to your questions, concerns and suggestions and to making Cognigen’s future brighter than its memories.
