This laid off factory worker is happy now that she was put out of a job. In fact it forced her to learn web design skills and gave her a whole new life and business. Once laid off she went back to school to learn about computers and photography.

Today, she teaches classes ranging from using photo retouching programs in scrapbooking to getting familiar with a computer. She also designs Web pages, travels the country, and loves to see the proverbial little light bulb above her students’ heads light up when they “get it,” and learn a new skill, she said.
