Do you vacillate between fearing that you’ll have NO business if you keep a “pain” account and overworking because you have TOO MANY accounts? Ideally you will have a stable of accounts that produce income regularly and painlessly (i.e. don’t add to the normal stress of business by being “crazy” on top of things).  Over time the idea is to know which accounts are most profitable, and get more of them while letting the less profitable accounts “go” (or require them to pay more so they become a profitable account which may also make them “go”).  After all you want to maximize your investment of your time and assets.
