I put up my Angel Food Ministries Lens on Squidoo.com on the evening of September 17th.
It’s slightly over 30 days later and here are the stats. My goal was to get to the Top 100 on Squidoo and I got that within a week.
As you can see, the lens stayed in the Top 100 for 13 days and - because I’ve been working on other projects - it’s today down to #267 - still pretty respectable I’d say and it’s had 3755 visits. It was getting Google and Yahoo traffic within days and today has had 719 visitors from Google and 438 from Yahoo.
There have been over 1200 clickouts. Most were to other sites with more information on the topic, but this has by far received more Adsense clicks than anything I’ve ever done on Squidoo. They’re probably not high paying clicks, but the fact that it’s getting clicks is a good sign I think.
I’m not disappointed that the site has gone down in rank. Ignoring the site relatively speaking and seeing how the rank fell had to be part of the experiment to evaluate Squidoo and the life of a lens.
I plan to write more about that soon, but I wanted to let you know how this was going.
