I am a fan of the cell phone world not because I like to buy them per se but because I always have my eye on that market because I’ve sold a few in my day. Not enough to retire - far from it - but enough to keep an eye on the market.
As a result I was very impressed to find this site FULL of Free Polyphonic Ringtones! 9000 and growing, though I must admit I didn’t count them all personally.
It’s not just modern hit songs either. You’ll find ringtones by Hank Williams for example… they even had a tune from the Eagles if that’s your taste in ringtones. I even found Johnny Cash’s “I Walk The Line”! It’s not a “Boy Named Sue” but what are you going to do?
Kids can even download the infamous “Mosquito” ringtone here that parents or teachers can’t hear. (But why would you let them?)
I even saw the Beatles have a few ringtones there… now that’s overkill to me, but we all have our favorite sounds I suppose.
Even “Dog The Bounty Hunter”’s theme song is available as a ringtone, though I can’t say I’ve ever heard it. How that popped up when I typed in “orchestra” I’ll never know.
But I couldn’t find any “orchestra” ringtones. Maybe that’s a niche they hadn’t thought about.
