Ebay Rethinks Skype

October 1, 2007 by Chuck | 0 Comments

Ebay is rethinking Skype according to Forbes.com

The original intention was for ebay buyers and sellers to use the VOIP service to speed the closure of transactions and make sales easier by letting buyers and sellers converse.

$2.6 Billion dollars later… now they’re lukewarm on the project.

Skype HAS helped a lot of businesses reduce their overhead, but hasn’t convinced Ebay of its worth.

Now the brain behind Skype is moving on to a new playground.

So what’s to happen?

Time will tell…
