IRS Moves To Stop Tax Evasion – Will Your Business Be Targeted?

The IRS says there’s a tax gap… between what taxpayers paid and should have paid. At least according to the IRS.

The IRS admits that the tax code is complicated. As readers of MONEY magazine always noted, no two full time tax accountants seemed to be able to agree what their annual “test cases” should owe.

But since the IRS doesn’t feel enough money is coming in, it’s time for more “research” audits at “random”.

The most obvious problem is that these efforts will only will target people who attempt to comply with a burdensome and confusing tax system by filing their taxes.
