Because the outage of the Overture Keyword Inventory tool has been such a bummer for folks, I’ve been checking around about alternatives.
Thankfully there is a way to gauge keyword usage without the tool.
How?
Word Tracker.
When I asked them if their results were dependent on the Overture tool, here was their answer:
No. Our results come from our 300+ million keyword database. This database is the *complete* log of all requests made at the Metacrawler/Dogpile Metacrawlers (we don’t use search engines because of software robots/position checkers distorting the results but the lookups are very similar).
