Using Squidoo For Affliate Marketing

September 7, 2007 by Chuck | 0 Comments

Squidoo has gotten smarter about how to deal with spammers, so it’s harder (but still not hard) to put up a lens that will help you market affiliate products - as long as you provide a variety of content to keep Squidoo doing what it’s about - providing information of value to readers.

Here’s a financial lens on credit repair that shows how this is done.

Note:

1. It contains the requisite number of modules. You need at least 3. Have a variety of modules including your own Flickr Photos or YouTube videos to set you apart from the junk lenses!

2. The website it points to has a significant amount of content, not just affiliate links.

3. It points to internal pages within the site.

4. It posts the sites RSS feed so the lens is automatically updated.

5. Yes, there are affiliate links at the very bottom.

6. If all else fails, at least you might get some royalties from Adsense clicks!
