If you’re building a website for your small business keep in mind this latest trend: the use of social networking sites and social media to get the word out about your business.
This is a story about a company hiring someone to surf MySpace to generate marketing buzz. It’s interesting reading and is a free (except for the cost of the employee and the creative talent which means it’s not completely free) to implement.
But at the very least, even small businesses need to exploit the use of social media and user generated content to get the most bang for their online buck.
