MomsTampaBay.com has gotten some good press from local TV, Channel 10.
It’s a local networking site for local work at home moms and is up to 520 users.
Maybe you’ll like it too!
Here are some comments about the site from a user Alexandra Cintron…
Alexandra Cintron, Wesley Chapel says “I have a 9 year-old, soon to be 3 and soon to be 2 and they keep me busy all the time. I also work full time, I telecommute.”
Alexandra Cintron does it all. She works, and takes care of her home, three children and husband.

Hello All,
As many of you may know (or have already seen) it is THAT time of the year again………Universal Studios has put up there very gory billboards to advertise their Halloween Horror Nights. Every year these billboards push the envelope, and this year is NO exception. They have put 80 full size billboards up across the Tampa Bay area, and this years theme is “Bloody Mary.” The signs are very disturbing and almost repulsive. I KNOW they are inappropriate for small children, because they even scare ME!
Movies, TV shows, and video games now have “ratings” on them so we can protect our children, but these signs are by our houses and where we drive. It is inevitable our children (and us) will have to see them, and we don’t even get a choice. They are right in out faces. Some of them even light up at night making them even more noticeable.
Anyway, it seems some like-minded people as ourselves are finally starting to speak up about them to local new channels and also to Universal Studios. There is a large MOMS group in Orlando who has written letters to them.
So…………I want to encourage all of you to write a quick letter to the address below, expressing how you may feel about the signs.
Thank You,
LINDA KNOX
