Tory Johnson on ABC goes into some interesting information about the most common stumbling blocks to not getting that online job.
The biggest problem may be taking assessments remotely… somehow they seem “unreal”. But they’re very real to the company. If you can’t read the practice scripts with enthusiasm and friendliness to get hired, they’re pretty sure you won’t be friendly and enthusiastic with customers.
Another way people “shoot themselves in the foot” is to go into such a work at home arrangement assuming they can work their preferred schedule from day one. Offer to work the “off hours” and at some point you’ll be able to get your “prime time” hours.
