Telecommuting To Help Saudi Women Enter Employment

Women in Saudi Arabia are not allowed to drive and do not work in the same environment as men. For that reason it can be difficult to be employed.

Telecommuting will enable more Saudi women to enter the workforce, according to IT specialists interviewed in Arab News. Saudi government departments are already setting up more women-only work centres. The centres will allow women to choose their own working hours in a male-free environment. Women and men are not usually allowed to work together in Saudi.
