Work From Home Program For Ex Felons

July 18, 2007 by Chuck | 0 Comments

Ex Felons have a hard time finding work. Mostly the problems relate to

1. Getting a job from the “inside” when trying to get parole

2. Often having limited educational background and verbal skills.

Update: I’ve requested more information and there has been no response, though it’s been a bit soon to expect one.  What I didn’t like when I viewed the website was that it looked like they were just trying to sell people desperate for work an information course instead of actually help with job placement or offer “free” training. Don’t get me wrong, training doesn’t have to be free. But from the press release below it sounds like a jobs program and a company who needs employees. That’s not the impression I get from the web page however.  Just another biz op promotion it looks like there.

Rich Trucking & Logistics recently launched their “Get Back To Work” program for ex-cons and felons in which they have the ability to be trained to work as freight broker agents in the transportation industry.

RTL is selective on who they train and approve to work as an authorized agent for the company. Each felon that is accepted into the program is screened, interviewed, and evaluated on an individual basis.

“Understanding the importance of what it means to have a felon in the home working,” CEO, Meca Rich, gives them a second chance through this program. Agents are able to work from home in all 50 states.

Rich Trucking & Logistics, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia is a third party logistics provider that specializes in transportation management services, including full truck load, less than truck load, and auto carrier services.
