Web Worker Daily has a great article that – in my opinion – is a good guide on taking a “cubicle” position and turning into a telework position – at least on a part time basis by
1. Analyzing what you do at work that could be done at home.
2. What you’re doing after hours at home anyway like restarting servers, etc.
3. Find out if the office’s phone system can accomodate call forwarding.
Then the issues is – can you identify the benefits of working at home for your employer?
