I have to admit that when I first saw Des’ headline about LinkedIn I thought he meant that his 300 contacts produced $3.3 million dollars in revenue. Actually what he meant is that his efforts to build a network of 300 contacts helps link him to 3.3 million other people.

Note: one of the neat things about LinkedIn is that they can check your web mail account for folks you already email who are on the network. Cool!
