If you’re near St. Petersburg, FL, you may be interested in a group of non competitive home businesses that meet to support one another. It’s called the Home Business Women’s Network.

The Home Business Women’s Network (HBWN) was founded by Virginia Burns, R.N., of Sarasota, FL, in August of 2006 as an alternative venue for women with home-based ventures to increase their business and grow personally in a non-compete, supportive environment.

The membership consists of women in the direct sales industry, network marketing, as well as other product or service-oriented professions. Most members take an active role in promoting the group and outreach efforts include fund-raising for causes or organizations that address women’s issues.

What can you get out of becoming a member in this group? Help with building your business, referrals, sharing ideas, a great support group, helping charitable causes in the community, networking at different events to grow your business and sales plus, being there for each other. We enjoy each others ideas and company but, also work towards getting our business service and products out to the public.
