Before you pay for that ad…

Before you pay for that ad, you need to restrain yourself for just a minute.

Sometimes we want something to happen so badly for our money, we end up pouring money down the drain.

Sure, you can buy an ad… but how will you process the leads you obtain?

That’s the rub.

If you don’t have a SYSTEM in place before the ad runs, you stand a good chance of sending all your money down the drain.

So before you place that ad, decide how you’re going to follow up.

Probably the best way is to use a “Squeeze Page”.

Your ad will then

1. Direct people to the squeeze page

2. Offer them a reason to subscribe to your ezine.

3. Deliver the download link by email once they confirm their subscription (double opt in)

4. Right now it’s “hot” to have a one time offer, but it’s sort of driving people nuts. I liked how “The Nettle” handles the issue of those offers.

5. Then there needs to be consistent follow up. That means you have to have the follow up sequence in your autoresponder pre-written and ready to roll before the first lead.

It takes work not to waste your advertising dollars.

Don’t just throw money at the problem if the system to follow up is not in place.
