This is one work at home opportunity you might not want to try for yourself. This work at home entrepreneur is likely going to jail.
He had the intestinal fortitude to advertise online promising “discreet bank accounts” that protected people’s anonymity so they wouldn’t have to deal with the “banking system”.
He seemed to charge reasonable fees.
There’s just one thing… he didn’t file tax returns since 2001 and when the IRS started looking into everything, they found out he was running an off the books bank with $28 million dollars in deposits from hundreds of customers.
The IRS thinks his customers used the service not to protect their identities but to avoid paying taxes.
Note to work at home entrepreneurs: stay legal. Jail’s a bummer.
