The Power of YouTube – 5,000 Calls Later

Here’s an amazing story of the power of a sincere non-salesy appeal on You Tube. Within a few hours 120,000 people viewed the video. Here’s the rest of that story to date.

Ryan Fitzgerald is unemployed and has some time on his hands.

He decided to offer a listening ear to anyone who needed a friend and made the offer on YouTube.

He told people his cell phone number.

5000 calls and text messages later, he may be facing a $20,000 cell phone bill.

He should immediately find a cell phone company to give him free unlimited calling to answer all these and sponsor him, that way the cell phone company will be the CELL PHONE COMPANY THAT CARES.

He should also be sponsored by them and be paid to wear a T-Shirt, jacket, and be paid to drive a car emblazoned with a logo to this effect at least until this phenomenon wears off.

Then his agent should get him on every TV show they can right now to keep the phenomenon running.

That way, this guy won’t be unemployed and the cell phone company will get mega advertising.

You’d think T-Mobile would be smart enough to figure this out. Maybe by the time this post appears… they will have made the offer.
