The Truth About Articles For Search Engine Optimization

April 23, 2007 by Chuck | 1 Comment

If you’re building a website these days, it’s no problem finding “content”. There are millions of completely “junk” articles just waiting to fill your site. They’re so bad even search engines can tell they’re lame just because they’re reposted everywhere!

But it’s not just the search engines that are getting mad. Readers are too. They’re tired of searching for something, clicking a promising link and finding the same worthless filler on every site.

That’s why blogs rate so higly … they’re usually providing more substantive information that has a shred of originality.

Long term, only high quality sites will survive (not to mention frequently updated sites).

To succeed you must invest TIME and do your own research and writing or you must invest MONEY and outsource the task to a company that offers seo article services.

When you’re starting out, especially if you’re an expert in the field, doing it yourself may be the way to go.

But at some point, even experts need to consider outsourcing because your site’s needs for quality content WON’T be able to be filled by your typing.

Outsourcing can get you into more trouble at some of those “bidding” sites. You have people who can crank out keyword dense articles… but do they make sense? Are they accurate? Will the reward your reader or just make them think you’re another online schlockmeister like all the other junk filled websites.

So choose your seo article outsourcing helpers carefully. Or they could just add to your troubles.

Anytime I go through article directories, it amazes me the junk that gets into them. So many people still mistake online business for “get rich quick and without effort” that they produce junk, then wonder where the money is.

Frankly, I’ve rarely seen PLR articles that were good for more than topic inspiration, assuming they were even accurate in the first place. Some are good but most… ugh! And similar for the free articles webmasters often submit to article databases.
