Freight Broker Works From Home

You never know where you’ll find someone working at home.

Have you ever heard of a work at home freight broker?

When independent truck drivers deliver a load somewhere and are headed home, they don’t always have a load to pay for the ride home (or wherever they want to go next).

When that happens, they call someone who specializes in linking truckers with shipments that need a truck.

That person is called a freight broker.

And a freight broker linke any other professional can take their customers with them when they move around.

That’s how this person I met tonight primarily handles truck loads travelling between Los Angeles and Las Vegas but lives in Tennessee!

It can all be done by phone and internet even though she “works” in association with a larger company that handles billing, collection, and accounting so she can just work on handling the loads.

Here’s a book that can get you started in the business (from Amazon.com): Start Your Own Freight Brokerage Business (Entrepreneur Magazine’s Startup)
