We visited Alfa Mercado back in January to see her goals. Here’s how she’s doing so far…
One thing you have to recognize is that Alfa works in the Philippines so a US dollar has more clout there than it seems to in the United States.
The line that should be most thought provoking for you if you’re trying to make money online is this one: “So from 5 blogs (2 with revenue sharing) to 7 blogs all flat rates (4 with opportunity to also share revenue from blog’s growth). Sweet isn’t it?”
In other words, she’s found ways to get paid to write every word she types… at least on a blog. That can be better than doing it for free and hoping for income. Some of these are part time gigs, but every little bit helps.
Like most online entrepreneurs, the Adsense revenue is down - nearly 25% OUCH!
But she was still able to hire help… a good sign of progress.
