I just ran across a humorous site… it’s called Is It 6 Yet? It actually is supposed to go “live” Thursday, but I’m giving you the inside scoop now because, YOU’RE WORTH IT BABY!
Anyway, several clock watching computer geeks used to have to wait until 6 PM until it was time for them to go home from work. So, drawing on their programming expertise and thousands of hours of clock watching experience they came up with this website (and accompanying screensaver) that counts down the seconds until 6 PM …somewhere. It wasn’t my time zone but it was still funny.
Since we’re being crass about work here anyway, they even decided to let people leave comments and images.
I uploaded one of my favorite images to the site along with my comment! (I got to be the first brave soul to do so by the way so I’m easy to find… the first comment or the last by the time you get there.)
My comment was “I know I’ve been at work too long when the two animals in this picture no longer look alike!”
You’ll just have to go to the Is It 6 Yet? website to see what I’m referring to. It was either really funny or I’ve been in front of this computer too long! Maybe the latter, but, hey - you decide.
