I was just visiting with a lady who started working at home in a call center position.
The pay is an hourly base and commission for a major shopping channel. So - she can earn up to $15 per hour! Not too bad for for working at home… especially in rural areas.
This is out in the boondocks, but because of broadband availability, even rural folks can work at home doing call center work!
If you’re trying to get into this field, here are some tips. During this recent hiring, there were 1900 applications for about 90 positions.
Expect a 3 hour interview. You’ll be given a few minutes to learn several pages of information and then you’ll receive a call and “tag” - you had better sound like a call center operator working with your “customer”.
Evidently most people fail because they just aren’t sharp enough with their computer skills… it’s not just emailing! You had better know a good deal more!
I can’t mention this person’s name or company but congratulations to you and this company for letting people work at home.
