Tech Work From Home: A Survival Guide

1. Stick to a schedule

2. Get dressed (No, DON’T make money at home in your pajamas if you want to be the most productive.)

3. Closed office door means no entry

4. Don’t become the “go to” person for all errands (People think that folks who work from home have nothing to do but run errands on demand.)

5. Get out of the house. (He suggests at least weekly to a place with Wi-Fi to stay sane.)

6. Hone your time management skills.

7. Don’t Hog House Resources.

8. Most Important - Don’t be afraid to enjoy the perks of working from home. Turn up the music, take a break to play with your kids, take the dog for a long walk after lunch, or spend some extra quality time with your spouse. And I’ll admit every now and then I work in my pajamas.
