AssociatedContent.com is now about to offer an ongoing Performance Bonus to content producers starting March 15th.

Starting March 15th, AssociatedContent.com will begin paying out performance bonuses.

As you may know AssociatedContent.com writers are paid on a per article basis depending on a variety of factors.

As of the 15th they are testing a program to pay out additional bonuses to writers.

Every writer likes getting paid twice for the same content. If fact, an old saying goes that to be a professional writer, you needed to get paid 3 times for each article in one way or another (reprinting, inclusion in a book, rewriting, etc.)

Payments are made through PayPal.com.

Thousands of top Content Producers use AC to turbocharge their careers, avocations, social networks, knowledge and exposure.

Count Phil Dotree as one of these top Producers. He had a monster week two weeks ago.

While he has 194 pieces of content live on the site (which in itself is incredible), 2 of them put him on the map. Within one week, a story that he wrote about Howard Stern (not Howard K. Stern!) was discussed and read on Howard’s show on Sirius and his exclusive interview with Fark’s Drew Curtis was a hit on the web, making it to the front page of Digg, among other key sites.

Phil collected massive page views (hello page view bonuses!) and enormous exposure. His quality, unique content makes him a power Content Producer and, more importantantly, known web-wide.

Says, Phil about his monsterous week, “I found out about both the Stern mention and the Drew Curtis interview success from other CP’s, and it was really exciting. I’m not sure how both came up in one week, other than I’m constantly looking for ideas for AC content and I happened to have a few good ones over the course of a few days. Like most CPs, I’m just doing this for the fun of it and some extra money every month, but getting a huge amount of readers and some major exposure as a writer is a definite plus.”
