Small and home based businesses are like another community entity… the small church.
They share similar strengths and weaknesses. One of those potential weaknesses is that they both feel they have little money to advertise. Both think “If we just had more money for advertising, we’d be bigger and healthier.”
So you might consider this good news: You don’t need an ad budget!
Well, at least maybe you don’t if you can take advantage of these concepts.

Bascially, it’s a strong reminder that small and home businesses need to emphasize what they’re good at: relationships and customer/community service because, in the long run, it’s word of mouth referrals that work best… not advertising.
Also, most of us neglect to use publicity to tell our story.
