I first saw the headline and thought “scam” … there are so many “travel MLM’s” etc. It’s not that the travel field is a scam, but it’s wrong to post business opportunities on Craigslist’s jobs board.

But this is apparently a  real telecommuting job paying $27,000 to $40,000 per year… if you live in Austin, TX or Nashville, TN and have prior experience.

This position is a part of the Consumer Travel Network “Work at Home� program in the Nashville area.
• Successful candidates are responsible for providing exceptional delivery of travel services to American Express Cardmembers in a virtual environment
• Excellent customer service required
• Expertise is required in international and domestic reservations (air, car, & hotel)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-3+ years selling experience in all areas of travel
-SABRE (Native) computer reservations required
-Previous call center/ACD experience highly desired
-Domestic & International destination expertise
-Candidates must initially attend a 6-week training session held at a training facility in Nashville
-Attendance is mandatory at 2 business meetings held each month at a Nashville-based location
