AngelFoodMinistries.com – Helping People Save Money Improve Nutrition

Angel Food Ministries is a faith based food ministry that is growing rapidly and should soon be able to serve the entire USA. What I’m about to tell you may sound too good to be true if you know people who are having a hard time making ends meet, so before I tell you that, let me say that their work was so impressive they were able to land a nearly $7 million dollar expansion loan from the United States Department of Agriculture for warehouse space, offices and food storage coolers!

Here’s the basic concept. Because they’re non profit, distribute the food boxes at local churches, and pay for no advertising, they are able to let people get food valued at up to $70 retail for just $25! From the folks I’ve talked to, this is all first quality, restaurant quality food… no seconds, “day old”, “dents”, etc.

Here’s the February “menu”:

1) 3 lb. Breaded Chicken Tenders (1) 1.5 lb. St. Louis Style Ribs (1) 4 lb. I.Q.F.* Chicken Thighs (1) 1 lb. Ground Beef (1) 2 lb. Breaded Chicken Breast Filets (10) 4 oz. Beef Burritos (1) 12 oz. Smoked Sausage (1) 20 ct. Old El Paso Taco Shells (1) 16 oz. Pinto Beans (1) 16 oz. Rice (1) 7.5 oz. Corn Muffin Mix (1) 20 oz. Shoestring French Fries (1) 16 oz. Sugar Snap Peas (1) 16 oz. 4-Way Mixed Vegetables (1) 15 oz. Breakfast Cereal (1) Dozen Eggs (1) 27 oz. Pie * I.Q.F. – Individually Quick Frozen

I’m expecting to get my first order this month.

If the food lives up to its publicity (that’s why I linked to the USDA site to show you!) this will be very valuable for lots of work at home folks, homeschoolers, seniors, or just penny pinchers! There are no income guidelines like other “programs” and obviously “name brand” quality stuff like “Old El Paso”.

Check it out. You might like it.

I am interested in helping work with Angel Foods Ministres with our church and for the community. The food looks delicious, and there are so many needy people who need healthy reasonably priced meals.

    Hi,
We live in Ca. and have been on the angelfoodministries.com website. This is such a blessing to have this offered. Although, the closest food distribution site is 3hrs. away. Any news on a site opening up closer to our area? Please update us as soon as there is. Thank you.

I am looking into being the “host site” for my area.

Yes, there is a $50 fee for those wanting to be a “host Site” for AFM. (no fees for those wanting food). you are not gauranteed to become a host site just because you apply, AFM has to approve the site.

If you do not have a host site in your area, ask a local church or org to become a host site for your area. Maybe they have never heard of it.
