Sick Of “Free” Websites? Try CityMax.com

Note: This is a sponsored post brought to you by the folks at CityMax.com!

I guess the folks at CityMax.com must have been reading my mind! You see, I have recently been helping a non profit organization take advantage of a “free” website. It’s been a week since trying to get this baby up and running and, frankly, it’s been driving me nuts!

I understand their concern though. They were afraid a “paid” website would be cost prohibitive. That’s why I want to mention CityMax.com to you.

I know that many small prospective online entrepreneurs would LIKE to have a website. Maybe they have a nice little local business running and they know it’s time to take it to the next level by having a website and selling online. Or you may have found an affiliate product (or several) you could promote IF you had a website. Or you know your blog has a chance of getting alot more pay per click revenue if you had your own domain name and hosting instead of a subdomain at blogger or some other “free” blog site.

That’s why I think it’s worth your time to check out CityMax.com.

You see, with CityMax.com you can get started for as little as $19.98 per month! And you can get things started in as little as 5 minutes… NOT a week like it’s been taking me with this supposedly “free” hosting. Even if you’re an absolute beginner, your time has got to be worth more than the frustration I’ve been going through to help this non profit!

Since there’s a 10 Day free trial…it’s at least worth checking out.

Right now they’re also offering a complete set of e-commerce tools for website purchases like a shopping cart, etc. in addition to the cool features you see in this graphic like a photo album, catalog, calendar, message boards, autoresponders, forums, and even credit for Overture (Yahoo! search) advertising - everything you need to have a “sticky” website that gives your customers the info they need to do business with you and keep coming back.

Can’t program html? No problem. The system is menu driven and while html is helpful, most people WON’T need to know how to do that to get started creating their own home on the web.

I was reading some of the customer testimonials on the site and they were very impressive, BUT the “proof is in the pudding”. That’s where you and the 10 day free trial come in so you can see for yourself whether everything they promise is going to meet your needs or not.

I would only use CityMax if you don’t mind having your e-mail and website down once a month or so. Also, they do not have phone customer service. They only have “get back to you when we feel like it” on-line support. When your website is down, you cannot use the on-line support since it goes through your website. Note: you still have to pay even if your email or site was down for part of the month. (Oh, also, their site building tools don’t work well with Macs.) Proceed with caution!!!!

I’ve got 2 CityMax sites - absolutely great. Easy to learn and use, neither site has been down for the 2+ years I’ve been with CM. Site building is way better than anything else I’ve found. Easy, reliable and cheap - just what I need.
