USBCell & The New Wave Of Energy Efficient Products

USBCell is the first in what looks to be a stream of energy efficient recharging devices that will allow you to recharge your cell phone, digital camera, and mp3 player from a USB port.

This device keeps battery waste out of landfills and lets low power electronic devices even without access to the power grid and 110 volt power supplies.

For instance, a battery like this could be recharged from a lap top computer powered by a solar panel.

That’s not exactly the functionality your average work at home afficianado is looking for. But I believe most of us will welcome the day when we can just plug our cell phone in to recharge at a USB port!
