Niche Advertising To Seniors

January 18, 2007 by Chuck | 0 Comments

I knew a couple who found a wonderful niche advertising publication that targetted their area perfectly and brought them in alot of business for insurance, mortgages, etc. What was it? A newspaper that served descendants of a particular Native American group.

I thought of them when I heard about this opportunity. But if I were 1) In Texas and 2) sold products or services related to seniors like shoes for diabetics, medicare supplement insurance, etc. I’d at least ask to see a hard copy and check the advertising prices so I could learn more and decide then if this were a good match for what I’m selling.

What’s the publication?

“Bingo Gossip”… 10,000 copies are passed out for free at various locations in the state. It’s a humorous publication targetted to seniors, retirees, and, of course, bingo players.

The magazine is found in bingo halls, VFW halls, restaurants, gas stations, hair
salons and various other locations in the following areas:Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Houston, Pasadena, Waco, Austin, San Antonio,East Texas, Lubbock and some smaller outlets.
