Cute Little Store documents the real life story of one entrepreneur’s transition from astrophysicist to business owner. Though business ownership isn’t “rocket science”, there were quite a few things she didn’t know about running a business - even after reading all the “how to start and run a business” books.
Adeena Mignogna is an aerospace engineer by practice, physicist and astronomer by education, entrepreneur by force of will, occasional freelance writer and with the introduction of “Cute Little Store,” now a published author.
After spending nearly a decade in aerospace engineering, Adeena quit to live the entrepreneurial dream and open The Pot & Bead, a contemporary Paint Your Own Pottery studio. Just after opening the doors to the store, Adeena quickly found out that there was a lot more to know about running a retail business than what they tell you in the books on how to start the business.
Since one of her other dreams was to write more than the occasional freelance article, she started writing down all the stories about The Pot & Bead as they were happening. Hoping to help and inspire others, she compiled these stories into what is now the “Cute Little Store.”
