I can’t find anything about it that Google Toolbar or Firefox weren’t responsible for creating in the first place.
And still, I find it to be a pain to work with! Unfortunately some of the proprietary software I have to use only works properly on IE. (It used to be worse. At first it only worked properly using Netscape’s browser!)
No wonder a Linux advocacy group has filed a “Friend of the court” brief asking that all software patents be made null and void.
