A while back I blogged about the beta of Google Page Creator. I liked it except for the fact that - then at least - you couldn’t host java scripts on your page… including Google adsense. And back then, the pages were all part of a subdomain, e.g. your URL would look like http://yourpage.googlepages.com
Some of that has changed with Google’s Applications For Your Domain. If you already have your own domain somewhere, you can use all of Google’s tools privately labelled for your domain, including the page creation tools, email, Google talk, Google Calendar, etc.
If you don’t have your own domain, for $10 you can register one complete with your WHOIS registration protection.
This is a beta so it may be limited if they can’t keep up with the demand, but if you’re just dipping your toe into the only marketing field, it’s a great way to get started.
