Be Notified Of Emergencies Immediately By Email

December 26, 2006 by Chuck | 1 Comment

http://www.emergencyemail.org/ lets you receive notification by email as soon as a national emergency broadcast goes out, or one affecting your area. You can configure the service to contact you by email or cell phone.

Depending on your area (some areas have more systems on this communications network) you can be notified about

1. Severe weather alerts

2. Homeland Security Alerts

3. National Disasters

4. Amber alerts

If your business somehow serves people after an emergency and you need to be “on the spot” this could help you stay in touch with your customers.

You can only get email alerts for one county per email. Serve multiple counties? You’ll have to sign up with multiple email addresses.
