FreeSell.com Celebrity Auctions Attract Attention To Low Fee Site

December 20, 2006 by Chuck | 2 Comments

FreeSell.com is using some interesting celebrity auctions to attract attention to their low fee site. It’s completely free to list your auction… then when you sell, you’re charged a mere 1% of the sale! That’s pretty good if the site can catch on.

The picture here is a bout a diamond ring a “Desperate Housewives” starlet used to wear. (I guess she got so “desperate” she doesn’t need it any more!) And there’s a piano Elvis once used for sale too going for over a quarter million. No information was available as to whether he played the piano or just used it as a dinner table to scarf down Krispy Kreme donuts.

Have any auction sellers out there tried the site?

I believe they are. I purchased a used server and was suprised to find the drives still had data. This peaked my interest so I found they left this freesell website. I’m guessing I got their liquidated servers.
