I decided to close one of my first half decent websites that actually made some money. I loved it!
It was started before “blogging” took off and it preoccupied my time.
That means I’ve spent less and less time updating that older site.
Gradually traffic slowed down… Google strategies that worked when the pages went up have become less productive due to algorithm changes.
It probably would have continued to break even for a while, but I decided to let the project go and move on the other things.
It’s a sad but also a happy day.
Sometimes you have to leave old projects that are no longer really working behind to focus on what’s working best.
This was one of those projects.
