Brent Whinfield sent out an interesting piece on using blog postings to spot trends by using http://www.blogpulse.com/trend.
You type in search terms and see how the blogosphere responds over time to that topic.
Some items are time sensitive like “Kramer’s” latest gaff.
But you can use this tip to find legitimate trends where there’s a growing buzz that signals public demand for a product, service, or “solution” to a problem.
