<description>The system was easy enough to set up although much print is spent in reminding you (and further reminding you..ad nauseum) that you need to subscribe to the phone connection monitor part of the system. For my money the phone monitor aspect is not worthwhile. The response time of local police is iffy at best and by the time the police arrive, all that is left to do is call for the print detail and count your loss. The important part of the system is the alarm which seems to activate well enough on my set up. It is loud enough to hear and perhaps(given the fact that the crook is nervous anyway) scare the suspect out of the house, which is what I want, but the alarm audio is not..shall we say..spine chilling. All in all, I am satisfied but I have high hopes that it will not be tried under actual conditions. Bottom line is I think I am happy with the money and effort. As a retired police officer I am aware that burglary happens in the daytime almost exclusively so I activate only when I leave in the daytime for hours or days at a time.</description>
