Want to tap into the huge and profitable market for toys on Ebay? Here is some advice from an eBay toy pro…

When selling toys on Ebay you sometimes get a chance to grab quite a few of the same hot item at once. One of the biggest mistakes you could make is to list more than one of them at a time. Let’s look at an example.

If you scored on 5 TMX Elmo’s, don’t list them all at the same time (unless you are running a BIN auction). You will spread your bidders out between your listings and your ending price won’t be as high. Less availability means higher profits. Instead, list them one at a time, and relist as soon as an auction closes. I love getting my hands on several identical items. Since I only have to take the picture once and create the listing once, it saves me lots of time when I can hit that “relist button. That of course means that I can go out there and shop some more.

Find out what the hot sellers are while there are still quite a few of them on the shelves with the Holiday Toy Guide.
