TheCareerPartners.com was founded to help executives - particularly women but really anyone - find work and life balance.
If they can succeed at that, this means that TheCareerPartners.com service is destined to help open upon a number of new possibilities for telecommuting, flex time, or other work at the office, work at home career possibilities. Well, perhaps I should say that these jobs are “there” already, waiting to emerge if the right talent can be found.
TheCareerPartners.com is out to find that talent and match it to the companies they serve.
In the founders own words, Kelly Watson started this company because
Ms. Watson was inspired to found Career Partners by the multitude of “opt-out” moms and dads she met at the playground, the hockey arena, and the Moms’ Club; smart, qualified, and talented leaders who simply were not willing to sacrifice the development of their children to the 60+ hours per week their executive track careers demanded. Almost unanimously, these people missed the challenge of their work and wanted some opportunity for further self-actualization.
Currently they offer a free one year trial membership ($199 value) in their network.
What will make services like TheCareerPartners.com ”in demand” is the growing number of Baby Boomers who are retiring already but who’ll do so in droves come 2010. The pursuit of human capital is heating up and, as a result, more flexible employment options will have to emerge for companies to remain effective. Intermediaries who profit as “match makers” in this way will also prosper.
