Ebay Tactics Increasingly Taught In Community College Settings

Most “work at home” business ideas are automatically considered “beneath” the educational system to teach.
Increasingly though, county schools, community colleges, and other places who once considered themselves too “refined” to discuss such lowly things as home business are offering at least non credit classes that focus on using ebay platform.

Here’s another one in KY:

Diane Sullivan started selling items on EBay three years ago as a way to earn spending cash for a vacation to Ireland. She made enough to pay for the entire trip and a new swimming pool. Then she paid for her daughter’s wedding.”It adds up quickly,” says Sullivan.

Sullivan finds most of her inventory at clearance sales and consignment shops. Then she resells them on EBay. Her top sellers are clothing, accessories, and collectibles.

“I bought a pair of boots for 3 dollars and sold them for over a hundred,” says Sullivan.

Now she’s sharing her secrets of success with others who want to try selling but don’t know how or may be intimidated.

Boyle County’s Community Education program will offer the EBay class October 25 and 26. The fee is $15.

It’s just one of many practical, educational, and entertaining classes the program offers.

Community Education is also offering classes on skateboarding, photography, wine appreciation, and crime scene investigation.

So far, EBay is one of their most popular classes.
