When I ship a used book I throw in a brochure or catalog of personalized books along with it. If the used book customer is a parent or grandparent (or aunt, uncle, etc., etc.)and I've provided them good service with the used book purchase they may be interested enough to check out the personalized books. I figure its a very inexpensive way to reach my target audience for advertising: people who buy books.
