The key here is that it is work. Anyone who says they can make a full time income with no effort or expense is lying. Anyone can work at home. I do. This is where the scams come in. It doesn’t take a lot of money to start, but it does take diligence, focus, and effort.

I believe that anyone can make “some” money online, but agree with Jeremy that it takes focus and drive to make “a lot” of money. For me I just want to make enough money to supplement my wife’s public school teacher salary so I won’t have to commute to a “job” again. If I had focus and drive I probably would have done better staying at the day job, where I had just received a promotion and my boss was targeting me to be her successor (Oh the meetings I would have had to sit through then…)

I don’t agree that just anyone can make money online. If you want to really be a success online then it take time, patience, and devotion. I do agree that anyone can make a few bucks online but if you want to make a killing then need drive. There is a great piece I think that you should read that really aupports my ideas.
